Privato Suite by OYO Rooms

We were a group of 41 and stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, from 15 - 17 May 2026. We booked 20 rooms: 19 double and twin rooms, plus one triple. Mr Arief, the hotel's GM, handled our WhatsApp booking and was really nice and helpful. At just over 200 per room, I worried a bit about the hotel's condition, but it turned out to be in great shape even though it's 5-6 years old. Everything was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and the amenities felt complete for a 1 star hotel. There was tea, coffee, soap and shampoo, a mineral water dispenser in the hall, and a hair dryer in every room. I've stayed in some 3 star hotels that were worse. If you just need somewhere to sleep and rest, I'd recommend it. The hotel has a cafe next door with good coffee and food. Prices may be a little higher than at other local cafes, but they're still very cheap compared with big cities. The building has only 3 floors and under 50 rooms, with a small elevator for luggage. All the staff were polite and helpful. It's not right in the city center, but it's not too far away, and there are lots of food sellers nearby, including bakso and soto. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit to Purwokerto. Worth every penny.
