You get a lovely setting among the rice fields, and the hotel has lots of traditional touches. The pool was really nice, the staff were very friendly, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Lovely place, with spacious rooms and a beautiful view. The woman at reception was friendly too ☺️

The traditional-style hotel serves good food, and the service is good too. The staff's English isn't their strong point, but Google Translate helps. One downside is the Karaokebar at the start of the street, which stays noisy until 1am. If you're visiting Toraja without a guide, use the hotel's guide, Gibson. I wouldn't agree to go with someone calling himself Frits. I found him very poor, his website is fake, and he makes everything sound bigger, more beautiful, and nicer than it really is. He pushes.

The pool is nice and the view is great, though the hotel is only fairly comfortable. Bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and shampoo, since they don't provide them. Breakfast is very basic, just fried rice and fried banana with chocolate and cheese topping.
