Back in America now, and I really miss artalia, Mbak Astrid, and her mother. I’ve stayed in nice hotels, even a 5-star one could have been an option, but nothing came close to how I was treated at this guest house. I’m so glad I spent time there, and I’d recommend it to anyone, foreigner or local. I’ve never experienced service like that before. Thank you, Mbak Astrid. Blake and flora miss you guys. 😊😊 The house felt modern, like being back home, and it was so clean. The price was incredibly affordable too. I’m an American man and used to luxury, but this place made me feel like family. Mbak Astrid is a great cook, and I looked forward to breakfast every morning, wondering what she’d make because it was always different. Mbak Astrid also went out of her way for me and my fiance. We could be a little loud and argue a bit, but she and her mother would hug me when I was upset and laugh along at my silly jokes.

My first time in a guest house that felt like home. The hospitality was excellent, and breakfast was fantastic too. If you’re going to Salatiga, stay here!

The room was clean and good, and the owners were very welcoming. The location is convenient too, not far from the highway, and breakfast was yummy. Next time, if possible, I’ll try a room with windows. Keep up the service, and Gbu.
