The river view was amazing, and the room was lovely. Good place and good food. Just make sure the room boy cleans the room after each guest, and please check all the facilities again.

Breakfast was the highlight for me: tasty, with a big choice of Indonesian, Asian dishes like Dim Sum, and Western food, including eggs cooked how you like them. The coffee was good too, and there were traditional jamu drinks to try. Staff were helpful and quick to respond. When we needed a replacement TV remote, they sorted it out right away. They were friendly throughout, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with good water pressure. The hotel is right on the river beside the impressive bridge over the Mahakam River, where you can watch coal barges go up and down from the pool. There’s also a mall a short walk down the street. It’s hard to imagine a better spot in Samarinda.

I had a smooth stay and would definitely come back. The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable, and all the staff were super nice. I used the pool and gym a few times, and both were well maintained. :]
