There are a lot of problems here. The room is tiny and smells awful, and the bathroom stinks too. The toilet was dirty. There were only two towels, and the bed had an old spring mattress that felt like it was from 1990, plus a flat blanket that used to be white. They wanted a 100,000 IDR deposit for the room key, then another 100k for a second key. If you pay over 300k IDR, you’ve overpaid.

I said it was so far so good back in 2019, but this week was my second stay at this hotel. The room was dusty around the edges and could’ve been cleaner. Check-in took more than 10 minutes, the bathroom ceiling was a bit damaged and needs repair, and the window was missing its first curtain. Please keep the pool fresh and clean. Thanks.

It’s a recommended three-star hotel at a cheap price, right in the middle of Samarinda with a strategic location. The rooms are clean and the service is good. The air conditioner gets very cold, which makes resting more comfortable in Samarinda’s hot weather. Crown Club is right across the street, a strategic spot if you enjoy nightlife.

The staff were polite and the service was good overall. On our first visit, the bathroom had a hot water problem, but they moved us straight to another room. Considering the price we paid, I’d give it just three stars.

The bathroom was great, but the room itself wasn’t very modern. Opening the room door was really hard, there was no electrical socket beside the bed, and the Wi-Fi was awful. The staff weren’t so good either. It’s okay, I guess.
