Hotel Vivo Sampit

Whenever I'm in Sampit, this is my main hotel choice. It's a distinctive building, with large, comfortable rooms, good air conditioning, and a clean toilet. The rates are affordable, and I've never been disappointed. The menu is the one weak point: it lacks variety, feels uncreative, and tastes ordinary, unlike when I first stayed around the grand opening.

The breakfast food tasted surprisingly good, but I found a piece of broken glass in the porridge, which was an unfortunate letdown. The place was clean otherwise, and the staff were friendly.

There were mosquitoes in the room, and sometimes customers had to wait because the room keys had run out. The bed linen didn't smell fresh or feel smooth, so the bed wasn't very comfortable. Service and communication with customers weren't good either. Supplies were limited to shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, slippers, and towels. Tissue wasn't always available in the toilet, though there was a water heater for drinking water and a TV.

The breakfast yellow rice was especially tasty, and there are lots of restaurants serving traditional food around the hotel. Vivo Sampit Hotel has a simple, modern design, spacious rooms and parking, and affordable rates.
