The staff were helpful, the WiFi was good, and breakfast was okay, though there weren't many choices. It's about an hour from Mount Bromo. But the rooms felt damp and musty, and they need dehumidifiers and better cleaning. We found a leech in the bathroom and slugs in one room. The rooms were noisy too. Beds and pillows were soft in one room and okay in another. We wouldn't stay here again.

Mr. Prapto and the team gave us such a warm welcome, and their hospitality made us feel at home. The service was simple, and the hotel was clean, stylish, and spacious. I'm still deeply impressed by the comfortable stay. Best wishes to you both.

The breakfast was reasonable and okay. We stayed in two upstairs rooms, and luckily the housekeeper helped carry our luggage up the stairs. The amenities are very basic, though. The real problem was the water. When we arrived around 8 pm, there was no running water. We waited for the pump to work, then filled the large plastic bucket in the bathroom. There wasn't enough pressure to use the shower, so we had to scoop water out with a small pail. The next morning the pump had broken. At least the bucket we'd filled the night before meant we still had water, but none of it was hot. Unless you can't find another homestay, I'd stay somewhere else.

It's okay for one night if you're backpacking and only need somewhere to sleep before seeing the Bromo sunrise. The place is very basic and loud. Our room was next to reception, so we could hear everything.
