The Deluxe room seems like the better pick if you want a modern room with a view of the mountains and terraced farms. I stayed in a Superior, which was clean and comfortable but felt a bit old and had no view. The amenities were complete, including toiletries, a kettle, and TV. Breakfast had lots of variety and was great, and parking was very spacious. The restaurant view was superb, and the hotel is right across from the lake, a lovely spot. The receptionist and staff were really friendly and helpful, and I had a nice stay.

The service was okay, but at 1 million IDR per night the room was dirty and the bathroom smelled awful. The place really needs a revamp. The room itself feels beyond help.

We had a clean, fairly large room and could watch a beautiful sunrise from it. Check-in was quick, the staff were all nice, and there’s plenty of parking. The breakfast had a good range of food and drinks, and everything tasted delicious. A recommended hotel in Telaga Sarangan at an affordable price.

The amazing view is what earned this place its three stars. We rented a whole villa for the family, but it was old and kind of creepy. My first impression was bad: flushing the toilet and turning on the tap brought out an unpleasant smell from the water. The towels and sanitary pads were old and need replacing. The staff, especially in the restaurant, weren’t very friendly and rarely smiled at guests. Breakfast was below standard. The fried rice was plain, the bread wasn’t very soft, and the milk and cereal were the only normal items. Street vendors could walk right up to the villa door and offer food. One kept insisting, “Come on, share your fortune/money with me, it’s only 10k,” while offering Friend Banana. That pushy approach really annoyed me. Three stars feels generous.

The restaurant food tasted good, and the bathroom was clean with a water heater that worked properly. I had a nice room with good views, though there was no air conditioner. The TV signal was really bad.
