RedDoorz Syariah @ Naufal Residence Sarolangun

I was asked to pay Rp 100,000 toward damage said to total Rp 230,000, even though I hadn't caused it. I was tired and still had a long journey ahead, so I paid. The way management handled my complaint felt very unfair and unprofessional, and could cause problems for other guests if the system and service integrity aren't improved. The problem started as soon as I entered the room. I sat on the provided chair, and within seconds one of its legs broke. That made it clear the facilities weren't fit for use, despite management's claim that they always check them. I didn't argue then, I just moved the chair out of the room. At checkout, though, I was blamed for the damage. I asked the receptionist to check CCTV footage to show the chair was already faulty, but nobody followed up. The price may be affordable, but this experience wasn't worth it. If you decide to stay, inspect everything when you arrive and document it if needed. It was a bitter experience, and I hope it serves as a lesson for me and other potential guests.
