Sri, the owner, speaks perfect German and English, so we got a lot of inside information. They even lent us traditional clothes for the Sudaji celebrations. The place itself sits among rice fields with a spectacular view and a great pool, and we were warmly welcomed. It's a shame the only way to contact them is through AirBnB.

The pool was fantastic, the food was amazing, and the rooms were big. I especially liked the spacious, private bathroom. This business is run by a Balinese family, and they're lovely people to talk with. There was something I didn't like when we arrived in our room. I talked to Dede, who was very helpful and moved us to another room. Thanks for a great experience!

Sri was lovely. She even came to pick me up from my previous place, which was quite a drive. Her family also helped make my two-night stay special. She arranged a visit to her daughter's school, where I chatted with students and watched dancing, scouts, cooking, and senior, middle and junior classes. It was wonderful. At my request, Sri also took me to a market to buy snake fruit and rumbutan, which I've fallen in love with. The views were spectacular, with a mountain in the distance behind rows of rice fields. When we turned off the busy street and drove through the gate, my eyes popped. I'd never seen the mountain hidden behind the street. The pool was much appreciated, and I really enjoyed the meals, especially the delicious lemongrass chicken. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was lovely. I'd recommend staying here and would come back. Thank you for your hospitality.

People in Sudaji are so welcoming, helpful, kind and happy to receive tourists. They made me feel at home, and I felt relaxed and connected with nature during my week here. I'd have stayed longer if I could. The place is hard to reach without a scooter, but they can provide transport if you need it. It's also very close to Fiji and Sekumpul waterfalls and other nature spots. This was one of the most amazing Balinese communities I've met. If you want to chill and relax, it's the perfect place.
