Andelir Hotel Simpang Lima Semarang

The towels had a strange smell, so they could use some improvement. Still, the hotel felt homey and family friendly during our two-night stay with our son and daughter. Thanks to all the staff for their great service.

The room was clean, had all the complimentary items, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed here as a stop during a trip through Central Java. It's a small hotel with limited parking, but the indoor pool and elevator are definite pluses. Keep it up, Andelir!

My room had a street-facing window, so I got morning sunlight, and there was parking available. The location is convenient for Simpang lima, a Semarang city icon, and easy to reach despite being off the main street. The room was spacious enough, clean, and simply furnished. Breakfast was average, with standard options like nasi tumpeng, nasi putih, and porridge. I also enjoyed the wedang jahe, or ginger tea. The room looked recently renovated, but the work seemed unfinished. The electrical outlet was broken, and without a glass cup by the washbasin, the amenities were messy. Those details made the room feel poorly prepared and managed.

My room was clean and nice, with a great bathroom and good hot running water. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. They lent me a hair dryer when I needed one. The area was interesting, and booking was easy.
