The room was comfortable enough for me to rest well. It was small, but clean and fairly quiet. I was looking for affordable accommodation near Kariadi hospital with comfortable facilities, and this guest house was kind of not disappointing. I do hope they improve how the service is managed, and make the hot water hotter 😅

The WiFi was very good, and when it dropped early one morning, I messaged the owner on WhatsApp and it was back right away. We paid a little under IDR 200,000 for our recent stay, and the rooms were comfortable and quiet, with friendly owners and very good, quiet AC. The bathroom was clean and the shower kept a steady hot and cold temperature. There’s good TV reception too. All rooms are upstairs on the second floor, with no elevator, and indoor parking is limited. There’s no breakfast, though a Japanese restaurant and street food stalls aren’t far away. Otherwise you can order food and drinks through GoFood or Grab. It’s a syariah hotel, so unmarried couples aren’t accepted, and married couples need to show both IDs/KTPs. A perfect budget stay in the heart of Semarang City, Central Java Province.
