Ceria Homestay By OYO Rooms

I needed somewhere quickly on a tight budget and luckily found OYO. It was worth it to me and covered what I needed, though some facilities were a little damaged. A few things could be improved: water flooded the bathroom, and the lobby felt unsettling and messy, almost like a family gathering place, which made me awkward when I arrived. WiFi was basic and limited, and I couldn't connect my laptop for work.

It's not like the photos anymore. There were lots of things scattered around as soon as I entered, including drink cartons, and the place looked poorly maintained and unclean. The rooms were the same. The bathroom door was damaged and wouldn't lock, and the broken curtains were left hanging messily. Parking was especially inconvenient. Better to find somewhere else with easy parking.

The cheerful OYO homestay is in a residential area near the PRPP in Central Java, close to the Pantura highway, and the atmosphere is fairly peaceful. The building is new and cleanliness is good. The AC stays cool, the water is warm, and the shower faucet works well. Still, OYO hotels need to improve their service and facilities to meet hotel standards. Rooms need wardrobes, and the TV is mounted too high to watch comfortably.

Set in a residential area, this hostel/homestay has decent parking and three floors, with no elevator. The price is very affordable, and it's well suited to backpackers. The address is unclear and should be updated in the OYO app.
