The gelato was a personal favorite, and the price was good. We spent one weekend night here, and the place immediately felt cozy and relaxing, a welcome break from Semarang's heat. The modern double room was roomy and comfortable, and the service was excellent. The green, spacious yard would be great for kids or toddlers. Since the cafe is connected to the hotel, ordering food anytime was easy, and the simple breakfast was really delicious. The bedsheet was clean and comfortable to sleep on, though its faded white color made it look a bit old. A little scent in the room would have made the stay even nicer. I'd recommend it for a downtown Semarang stay.

Djajanti House Semarang was a good choice for a quiet stay, either with family or while working remotely. The lush garden and outdoor area felt fresh and peaceful. There is no disability access or elevator, though. I stayed for two nights in a clean classic executive room with its own terrace. It came with a toothbrush, tea, coffee, sugar, kettle, and hotel slippers, and the AC worked well. The water heater was a little unreliable during my stay. The location is close to Soto Semarang Pak Wito and Istana Buah.

The food tasted good, and the place was clean and nice, with a mostly fascinating, natural design. The wall by the lower eating area is the problem. It's rough and unsafe for toddlers. My child got hurt on the face against it.

The food and drinks are the best, and the location is strategic with complete facilities. Parking is limited, though, and getting to the rooms is quite difficult.
