The service was good and breakfast tasted nice. My room was decent, but there was no Netflix or water heater. The area gets muddy during the rainy season. Cheap, and I’d give it 8/10.

It’s less than a 10 minute Grab ride from the airport, but I couldn’t sleep because my body was so itchy. I’m not sure if it was the bed or that pesky mosquito. The room looked run down, with peeling ceiling paint, stained walls, and dirty sheets. The water heater was broken.

7/6/25. I picked this hotel partly because it’s near both the port and the airport. The room isn’t large, but it was enough for a night’s rest before continuing on to Kalimantan. The fairly low price includes breakfast and an airport shuttle. The area is quiet enough for a morning jog, though it’s a bit far from the restaurant area.

The food was only okay, and our room stayed hot even with the AC running. It was small, too.

It looked fine on screen, but once we arrived it felt like a cheap dorm. The water didn’t work in one room, and the bathroom in the other smelled bad. We decided to give up the next night and leave in the morning to find somewhere better.
