For less than 100k a night, you get a clean bed and room, air con, TV, and the basic amenities are decent. There’s food nearby, or at least not far from Jalan MT Haryono, so it’s a good budget pick. A few drawbacks: some rooms share a bathroom, there’s no parking at all so I wouldn’t bring a vehicle, and the blankets aren’t very warm. You can also hear a little noise through the thin walls from other rooms.

The service didn’t feel very friendly. We only stayed one night, but by 9 a.m. we were already getting WhatsApp messages asking when we planned to check out. We had asked to check in late, until 1 p.m., and were upset about the messages, so we ended up checking out around 10 p.m. The room itself was tidy, with a flat-screen TV, clean bathroom, linens, and towels provided.
The walls seem to be plaster, and noise from the next room carries through. Still, it’s worth the price: the rooms are clean, the receptionists are friendly, and there’s a kitchen. It’s centrally located too, with food easy to find on foot.
