The staff were polite, but the room needs major maintenance before the price or star rating feels justified. Room 615 looked old, dusty, and poorly kept, more like a three-star hotel at best. At night it felt a bit eerie because of the dim lighting and damp patches on the ceiling and walls. The wallpaper was peeling, there were several water stains overhead, and the walls showed moisture damage and swelling. Parts of the door frame were chipped and badly fitted. It looked decent in photos, but the actual condition was disappointing.

The rooftop lounge was a highlight, with the city lights sparkling below each evening. The room was comfortable, modern, and well maintained, and its large windows framed the skyline beautifully. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the location made nearby attractions easy to explore. A fantastic stay with a memorable nighttime view.

The hotel is in a strategic area, and the room is fairly spacious and clean, but it isn’t well maintained. The bathroom sink and shower aren’t in good condition, and the air conditioner controller doesn’t work properly. Breakfast service needs attention too: tables aren’t prepared for arriving guests, and used cutlery isn’t cleared promptly. It would be better to have more than one person responsible for the dining area at breakfast.

The staff made this one of my best experiences in Semarang. When I said live music from other floors was making my room too noisy, a young receptionist found me another room right away and helped me move. At the top-floor restaurant, I mentioned that I don’t smoke and was shown the non-smoking area. Another staff member was always smiling while taking my orders. I hadn’t expected such a great hotel here.

We’ve been celebrating family occasions at Bleu Sky since 2018. The festive buffet is worth trying, and breakfast is one of the best, with lots of tasty choices. For a special event, reach out to Ms Ajeng. She’ll welcome you warmly and take good care of you.
