For a 3-star hotel, it's decent. The highway exit is nearby, so getting on the road was quick. The place's condition could be better, though. There’s also a travel agency in the hotel, which is a nice extra. I ran into some electrical problems: one outlet was broken, so I brought a multi-port extension cord and set it by the TV and Set-up Box. The TV only gets local channels, which is understandable. You have to ask reception for the Wi-Fi password or access code; they don't give it to you at check-in.

It worked out fine for a one-night, two-day stay. The restaurant and room were clean, and the Wi-Fi was good. The hotel has no lift, just stairs, so I wouldn't recommend it for elderly guests. There were no hangers or cabinets. We also had to ask for a bath mat because none was there when we arrived. For the Wi-Fi password, we had to check with reception.

The hotel is clean, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby since breakfast isn't provided. Still, it needs serious maintenance, especially the air conditioning. There’s no bellboy or other help, so you carry your own bags up a very steep, uncomfortable staircase to the third floor. I'm not sure how this building got a permit. Next time I’d rather stay at a hotel in Semarang and drive to and from this area each day.

There's a varied menu, and the place suits everyone from college students to families. Food costs 9k-65k rupiah, while drinks are 7k-27k rupiah. It's a nice option in Semarang atas at affordable prices. The space is on the small side, and parking is limited, especially for cars, but I enjoyed it overall.

Hazelnut restaurant is connected to the hotel, so finding food isn't a concern. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were nice. Just be ready for the stairs: there’s no lift, and getting to the third floor takes extra effort.
