We tried the spa and really enjoyed the massage, the therapists were great. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and courteous, and breakfast was good, with Semarang and local dishes like nasi ayam, nasi pindang, nasi pecel, and soto, plus Western and Asian choices. The room was on the small side, but the stay was good. To check in, you enter through the parking lot and take the elevator up to the lobby.

Breakfast was just right, and the service was great. The hotel is clean, though dated, and the soundproofing is what bothered me most. I could hear people talking, morning prayers over speakers, and even construction.

It's about a 5 minute walk to Toko Oen, known as the oldest resto in semarang. The room was clean and quiet, and breakfast had a range of choices, especially traditional Semarang dishes. Try their kunyit asam welcome drink and wedang uwuh at breakfast.
