Hotel O Unta Residence

There were plenty of food vendors nearby, the price was low, and the hotel wasn’t too noisy. Service was pretty good too. My issues were that the WiFi was out and the towel was still wet. OYO is usually my first pick when I’m traveling on a budget, so please keep improving the facilities 🙏

On the third day the power went out, and since my room had no window, I fled the hotel in the dark. The booking photos didn’t match what I found. The room was awful and dirty, with hair from other guests, and the bathroom smelled like sewage. The towels were dirty and stank too. Mosquitoes were everywhere, hundreds of them, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. Staff spoke no English at all. I don’t complain often, but this was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

At least the staff were friendly, but the room needs a lot of work. We booked for two people and got just one towel. The linen was stained and had other guests’ hair on it, and the WiFi kept cutting out.

The rooms are on the small side, but the hotel is cheap and breakfast was good. Manager Arif was especially helpful. He even drove me to the bus terminal and helped me get a ticket.
