The biggest problem for me was how much noise came through from traffic and neighboring rooms, which made it hard to rest. There was also a power outage, and the shower pressure was extremely low. I was in Semarang on a business trip and liked the stylish industrial design, clean room, and cold AC. Through those issues, the staff stayed friendly and handled things professionally. The design and cleanliness are good, but the infrastructure and sound insulation need major improvement for guest comfort.

I stayed four nights and had no security issues, which was good. The front office apparently stays open to the public area 24 hours. The hotel is worth the price, with an industrial scheme design, and it’s in an elite area of Semarang city. Traffic right outside is heavy and busy, and there are no sidewalks for pedestrians.

On my first visit to Semarang, I stayed here and had a great experience. The interior has an industrial design, the place was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and polite. It’s centrally located, and I had no cons. Very recommended ❤️

I liked that it’s up in the highlands of Semarang and away from the crowds. If you want time somewhere quiet and away from noise, this is a good fit. The room is perfect for couples, and the service was perfect too. A very recommended place to stay at Semarang.

This unique Gusthouse has an industrial design and sits in the middle of Semarang. It’s well placed for walking around popular areas, and worked well for a staycation or a quiet escape.
