Our upstairs room after the trek felt roomier, and the balcony was lovely. We’d stayed two nights around our overnight crater hike, and our first room downstairs was pleasant, though we could hear the people above us. They kept our luggage safely while we were away. The staff were very helpful, and I thought their English was excellent. Dinner portions were generous. There’s no beer served, but guests seemed welcome to bring their own. Breakfast was fresh fruit and a delicious banana pancake, and the freshly baked chocolate brownies are worth trying. The ATM is about a 10-minute walk down the hill. There was a kettle in the first room, but no tea or coffee provided.

The restaurant was really good, and we’d happily recommend staying here. The rooms feel airy and spacious, with a very comfortable bed. There’s no AC, but the pleasant temperature and open design meant we didn’t miss it. We did find it a little noisy, and water covered the bathroom floor after a shower. The place is beautiful, and the staff were kind, helpful, and spoke good English. We had a lovely stay at Rinjani Lighthouse Cottages.

We didn’t book a room, so I can’t say much about those, but the property looked well maintained and the staff were absolutely great. The restaurant is open to everyone, and the food was probably the best we had on our three-week trip. Such a cozy atmosphere too. Do come by!

The kids loved running around the lush grounds and playing soccer on the grass field. It’s a very family-friendly place, within walking distance of beautiful waterfalls. We had a wonderful time relaxing and exploring around Rinjani Lighthouse. The staff were attentive and among the kindest people we’ve met. Coffee was spectacular, and every meal we ate there was delicious and well priced. Beautiful location, even lovelier people. We can’t wait to return!

After finding Rinjani Lighthouse Cottages on our second day in Senaru, we kept coming back at least once a day for the next three days. We were staying at the foot of Mount Rinjani for four nights, and this place was so inviting that we wanted to spend time there. It’s beautiful and well cared for, with amazing coffee and really tasty food. A lovely place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
