Eva was such a sweet and gracious host. The room was clean, modern, and very nice, and breakfast was good. It was a little hard to find: look for the Rafa sign by the street, take the small alley beside it, and it's the second hotel or homestay you see. I really appreciated being able to use a scooter for free. Without one I probably would have left the next day. Eva suggested a loop up to Monkey Hill, down to Mataram, and back. It was gorgeous, and I extended my stay by a day to explore the many deserted beach coves I saw on the way. Senggigi is a cute town, but the nearby area is the real gem. Eva had several recommendations and didn't pressure me to buy a tour. My only suggestion is to provide a top sheet, since I don't like using comforters or quilt covers when I'm unsure how often they're washed. Thank you for everything, Eva!
