I paid in full for a booking made through Booking apps in September 2025, but the resort didn't tell me until January 2026 that it had cancelled my reservation for renovation. The late notice disrupted my travel plans. Communication was poor: my questions went unanswered, and I was passed from one person to another without clear help. I only got my refund after filing a complaint with the Booking customer centre, which shouldn't have been necessary. I eventually got my money back, but the whole thing was frustrating and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend booking here because communication and customer care were unreliable.

We stayed at Kebun Villa Resort in Seroja 1 from 31/10/25 to 10/11/25. The resort is well placed for a stay of more than a week, with Senggigi beaches nearby. The surroundings are serene, and staying in a large room facing the pool, with nature all around, really felt like a holiday. The air-con was very cool. Room health and environmental issues were checked daily. There were some mosquitoes, but it wasn't serious and repellent was provided. The concierge, housekeeping, restaurant, landscape, and F&B teams were courteous, pleasant, and well trained. Thanks to Bung Sony and the Security team for their professionalism and tactful manner. For daily trips to places of interest, a car is a good idea because the elements and weather can be unpredictable. If you're comfortable on a motorbike, that's an option too. The hotel concept, location, and staff were great, and I loved them. The rest was good too, though the property needs some touch-ups and a bit of maintenance.

We stayed for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a great spot in a beautiful setting, handy for both town and the beach, and the pool is amazing. There were a couple of minor room issues at the start, but the staff sorted them out and were awesome throughout our stay.
