Shunyata Villas Bali

The driver who took us to the hotel and all the staff deserve special thanks for their help. Everyone was exceptionally responsive and attentive, and the villa was incredible. We were extremely satisfied with the service and food, which were more than amazing. We had fresh fish every day, and the menu was perfectly tailored to what we liked. It was a truly unique stay.

The quiet setting adds to the charm, though the place is a bit far from everything. There's a nice warung about a 15 minute drive away. We loved the Sea villa, its comfortable bed, the view we expected, and the very good service. Breakfast was good too. The only downside was the restaurant: because food has to be ordered in advance for freshness, we tried it twice, but the taste didn't convince us.

The food really stood out, with a great choice of high quality dishes that were beautifully presented, fresh, clean, and delicious. The service was outstanding too, with wonderful attention to detail. The staff made sure everything was right, and you could feel the care in every part of the experience. Shunyata Villas Bali is beautifully designed and luxurious, with a peaceful feel. It's a bit off the beaten path, which suited me perfectly. I could relax, unwind, and disconnect from everyday life. If you're after a quiet, luxurious escape in nature with top tier hospitality, I can't recommend it enough. A truly special place that stays with you.

The first time I visited Shunyata was ten years ago, and this time my wife was seeing it for the first time. I'll never forget her face when she saw the view from the dining room. Calling it “Shunyata Paradise” isn't an exaggeration. We were extremely happy with our stay, and it's by far the best place I've ever stayed. I'd love to get back sooner rather than later. We had a few maintenance issues, but the resort responded quickly and accommodated us when needed. We also paid extra for the honeymoon package, and all the extras felt worth it. I hadn't tried the package on my first visit, and this time it didn't disappoint. The food was very high quality, and the portions were so generous that we couldn't finish most breakfasts or dinners. There were more options and flexibility than on my earlier visit, when food choices had been limited and the portions a little smaller than we wanted. Every breakfast was amazing. The bottle of sparkling wine with our candlelight dinner was an unexpected treat. I still want the recipe for the sauce they served with the tuna on the first night. If I had to pick a complaint, it'd be lunch. There aren't as many choices as at breakfast or dinner, though the meals were still good quality and we were usually full from breakfast. We skipped lunch on the final day and ate at Virgin Beach instead, since that day's menu didn't really appeal to us.
