Kadek and Dedak made the villa feel like home. They were kind, quick to help, and seemed to know what we needed before we asked. Their smiles and upbeat attitude made every day brighter. The gardeners also cared for the beautiful grounds with so much attention, and the night guard was reassuring without getting in the way. The villa itself is peaceful and right beside the sea, with everything we needed close by. It’s well equipped, but it’s the warm, welcoming staff who made our stay unforgettable. We left feeling like family, and we’ll definitely come back.

We had our best relaxing holiday so far during two weeks at this beachside villa. The local area feels like real Bali, and people were generally happy to say hello. I walked for half an hour each morning and never felt uneasy. Money changers, markets and supermarkets are only a few minutes away by car, and the guidebook points to some great places to eat. The road in is a bit rough and the beach is dirty, but there’s rubbish around Bali generally, and driving slowly is the answer. That’s not the villa’s fault. Kadek and Desak looked after us so well that we jokingly begged them to come home with us. We let them choose meals because we wanted to try as much traditional cooking as we could, and they were wonderful cooks as well as caring people. Ketut and Putu kept the pool and grounds spotless, and were happy to help with anything. Edy was barely visible, but we knew he was there when lights came on by themselves. It gave us real peace of mind overnight. The villa is roomy and comfortable, with good amenities, WiFi, a TV, and comfortable beds. The newest photos accurately show the property, so I won’t add more about that. The downstairs bathrooms are private but outdoors, as an earlier review mentioned. Their shower floors can get dangerously slippery when wet, so they may not suit older guests or anyone with mobility issues. The upstairs shower is safer, though reaching it means climbing a large flight of stairs and then going down two steps to the bathroom. None of this caused us a problem, and I’m 61 with a prosthetic knee, but I did need to be careful. There are lovely sun loungers and a lounge area. The villa is nearing 20 years old and shows a few signs of age, though nothing major. Terima kasih to all the staff. The food was fabulous, and this was the most relaxing holiday we’ve had.

A lovely spot for relaxing, with quiet surroundings and a good-sized pool. Just a heads-up, the beach right in front of the villa is dirty :(
