D'jineng Rice Terrace Bungalow

Good value, 10/10. It’s near Omni Bali, fairly quiet, with green rice field views, clean air, and a lovely shared pool. I’d pick an upstairs room for the nicer wooden interior and higher ceilings. The team was great 🫶🌏☯️💗

The rooms had a lovely rustic wooden villa look, facing paddy fields, and there was a small, quaint pool with a Koi pond. But the stay was unfortunately bad. The woman managing reception was rude and gave us attitude over small things. We asked if breakfast could be earlier because we had to get to the airport, and a simple polite no would have been enough. At check-in, she didn’t explain where our room was. It was dark, the rooms weren’t clearly numbered, and when we went back to ask, she responded sassily. Getting there was also awkward. The narrow alley itself is typical for Bali, but this one had deep potholes. Our driver got stuck and scratched his car on the way in. If you’re willing to deal with the staff issue and still stay despite this and other bad reviews, walk out to the main road to get Grab.

The staff had a really bad attitude, and the upstairs room was noisy. The power went out at night, but no one even apologized for the inconvenience. We followed the rule of no more than two people staying overnight in a room, with one of our group sleeping elsewhere. After we checked out and left, they accused us over the phone of having three people in one room without asking us about it first. They mocked our religion, which was rude and racist. What a shame. Don’t book here.

I thought this would be a beautiful way to end my holiday, but I didn’t sleep a single night because it was so loud. I could hear everything from the room above, and the staff were noisy too, so there was no chance to rest. I have really bad insomnia, which made this a terrible experience. The staff were never around when I needed help, and I couldn’t even buy water. The floors were sticky and kind of disgusting, and the bathroom was dirty. I wish I’d read the reviews before coming.
