Wisma Thamrin Sidoarjo Hotel

There isn’t much here beyond the rooms and parking, and the room itself was too small. Still, it works for a night or two if you’re backpacking or just need somewhere to sleep and rest. It’s right on the main road, but the room stayed quiet, and public transport was easy to reach. An angkut ride of about 10 minutes gets you to more food options, with a bakery next door and a small warung across the road. The staff were great. They gave our team snacks like nuts, bananas and sweet potatoes, and made hot tea whenever we asked, without charging us. You can also get free hot water for Maggi or milk. The room was clean enough, there were lots of TV channels, and we had no trouble with mosquitoes or bed bugs. Each room has a qiblat direction, there’s a prayer room on the first floor, and you can hear the azan near the hotel. There are chairs and a small table outside the rooms too. Thanks to the staff, you guys were great!
