Lovina Loca

It’s a simple hotel with rooms and meals, well located in Lovina town. The staff are friendly and happy to share tips. I’d gladly come back.

The private rooms were good value for what we paid, and I’d recommend giving the place a try. It’s quiet, which made for good sleep. The party hostel is only a 13 minute walk away, so you can have fun there and come back to a peaceful night. The location is pretty central. Within 10-15 min walk there are lots of restaurants, grocery/markets, indomarets/convenience stores, beaches, and tour companies. The place was nice and tidy, the AC worked well, and the staff were helpful when needed. The pool was small but well kept. The beds and pillows weren’t amazing, but were good enough. Breakfast was included in my room. It was basic but tasted good, with eggs, toast, and fresh fruit. They had a few other options too, also basic. Keep money locked up as always when traveling, just to be safe. Thanks to the owners :)

The location worked really well, just a few hundred metres from the beach, and the pool was pleasantly cool in the heat. Our room had AC and a good shower, plus that classic open-air Bali bathroom. Trisna greeted us so warmly with iced tea, and even sorted out our dolphin tour and made sure we were up at 5:50am. We loved our stay and would come back.

I was traveling alone, and the owner made things easy: she helped me rent a scooter, set up a sunrise swim with the dolphins, arranged a shuttle back to Kuta, and shared local tips on where to find things. She was really sweet. The room suited the hostel feel I like, and I appreciated having a towel included.
