Mandhara Chico Bungalow

We had a hard time finding the place, and the road down to it is narrow and difficult to drive along. The staff weren’t friendly and didn’t offer to help with our luggage. The one upside is the location, where you can find a boat rental for dolphin trips, although plenty of other places offer that too. Our room wasn’t clean, the bathroom smelled awful, and the sheets were dirty. The beds were uncomfortable as well. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Thanks for a really nice stay. The hotel is quiet and has a pleasant pool, and the price felt fair for what we got. For dolphin watching, it’s especially convenient: the boat is literally 30 steps from the bed, so you can hop straight on.

The owner was helpful, and the room was spacious and clean, with a hot shower. It’s also quiet, which could be nice if you’re looking for inspiration. One odd thing: they didn’t make up our room at all during our three-day stay. The location isn’t very convenient, so renting a bike helps. The food is too expensive; ride down the street and you’ll find different kinds of food for less.

We stayed one night in the family room, which had plenty of space and very clean bathrooms. The welcome was okay. We went on the dolphin tour and snorkeling right after, and enjoyed both. Neither was too expensive.
