Alamanda family Villas Pool Yogyakarta

Breakfast was served in three portions, with several menu choices shared by the hotel staff so we could pick the night before. The place was spotless and surrounded by rice fields, which made it feel really relaxing. Service was top notch too. I asked if they could print some documents, and even though it was quite late, staff brought them to my room within an hour. We had two amazing nights here. I've recommended the hotel to friends and they seem interested. I'll definitely return on my next vacation in Jogja!

The room was great and really clean, which is what we were looking for, and the AC was comfortable enough even though it wasn't the coldest. Still, for the service and place offered, I'd say it's overpriced. We met staff who didn't smile, and some occupants were yelling even at night. The trash area is right outside, which made me uncomfortable while unloading. Better organization and upkeep could make this quaint property much better. I hope the owner pays it more attention. Thanks for the stay.

Frans made my visit to Yogyakarta incredibly easy. I arrived with a list of places I wanted to see, and he made it happen without any hassle. During my three nights at Alamanda Bed and Breakfast in November, I was treated like family from the start. Breakfast was huge, the restaurant classy, and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. I got sick on my last day at the villa, and once Frans heard, he arranged fruit, water, soup, and rice to be brought to my room almost every two hours. I'd recommend this place to friends and family in a heartbeat.

Our holiday at Alamander Family Villas was unforgettable. The rooms had warm, inviting decor and were impeccably clean, and the staff were super lovely and attentive. There's also a VERY cute baby. We had brilliant day trips with our guide Anton, ate the best satay we've ever had with Frans and Anton at Sate Ratu, and got an impromptu look inside Gadjah Masa University, including the Geography Faculty. My daughter wants to attend there in 2024 through an exchange with a Melbourne Uni. Nothing was too much trouble, and we feel guilty about how little this amazing experience cost. Yogyakarta has so much to offer, and Alamander Villas makes it possible. Put it on your bucket list. My one complaint is that I probably gained 3 kgs in 4 days from the big, delicious breakfasts, spontaneous local snacks, and restaurant visits we wouldn't have known about without our host and guide. 6 stars out of 5!
