Awangga Residence

The welcome and hospitality were superb, so I didn’t make much of a fuss. My room was decent, though I do think the toilet needed a thorough cleaning. Breakfast was quite good and there was plenty of it. The place had a homey feel, and they also offer laundry service.

The owners and managers were very cooperative, and the rates were reasonable. Snacks, tea and coffee were available free of charge, as was laundry. Its central location made it easy to reach important places of interest, and longer stays are possible too. A nice property to stay at.

Breakfast tasted homemade, and the welcome snacks were there to enjoy anytime. The owner and staff were hospitable from my first impression. I stayed one night in this premium boarding house, which offers daily rooms through Traveloka, with a private bathroom, laundry and AC. There’s a balcony where you can have breakfast in the sun. The house is across from a mosque, in a strategic spot surrounded by cafes and distro outlets. My only issues were too few power outlets in the room and the TV channel quality. I might stay again someday.

The owner was humble and kind, the staff were lovely, and they did our laundry free. I also liked the balcony and its view. I’d highly recommend this hotel for either a short visit or a longer stay in Yogyakarta.
