Pretty good.

Parking space is generous, and the Wi-Fi and smart TV are available. There's no regular TV because the signal is poor. Both husband and wife need to show ID. The bed linens and blankets are changed, and the room itself is clean and comfortable in a quiet residential neighborhood, though staff sometimes play music loudly. The bathroom has soap and towels, good hot water, and a toilet and flush that work properly. It doesn't smell fresh, though, and there are no hangers, so bring your other toiletries. Food and attractions are hard to get to from this residential area, and ants show up quickly if you leave food or drinks out.

I found the place on Agoda during a promotion and stayed near Jogja. It's really quiet, with a closing gate at 11:30 PM. The rooms are clean, the AC gets quite cold, and there's fast Wi-Fi, a working TV, hot water, body wash, and towels. Service is friendly, parking works for cars and motorbikes, food can be ordered, and the price is affordable. The approach is down a narrow alley near the Mataram Canal. The pillows felt too thin, and there's no toothpaste, toothbrush, or Qibla marker. Still, it's a really nice stay. How did I only find it now? I always knew I'd stay here when it got late 🫠🫠🫠🫠😄

We booked two rooms for five days and left after just one night. It feels like a boarding house turned into a hotel. The shower holder was broken and still hadn't been fixed, and the room's AC blew warm air instead of cooling it. I forgot some belongings and called the number listed on Google, but it was out of service. Nobody from the hotel tried to contact me, even though I'd left my number at check-in. They call themselves sharia-compliant and the booking app asked me to bring marriage documents, yet no one asked for them when we arrived. I don't understand what part of that is supposed to be sharia.
