Dahayu House Kaliurang Yogyakarta RedPartner

The building is new, the rooms are clean, and service was good. I was unsure after seeing angry Google reviews, but my own stay went well. I later heard about the incident, and the old guard was still working there. It's conveniently close to UII, with food stalls nearby.

I left that night, really disappointed by how the owner treated us. There wasn't a receptionist when we arrived late after a long trip, tired and unsure what to do when all we wanted was to rest. We nearly fell through the large gate. The bathroom was dirty and smelled bad, with water sitting in the wet trash can. The owner told us by phone to park in a neighbor's lot, but the neighbor who owned it scolded us. It was humiliating to be treated that way over parking. I raised the problem with the owner and got no understanding at all, as if we were to blame. The money I lost wasn't much, but I felt completely disrespected as a customer.

I checked in at 11 pm yesterday at Aman Aman, and the owner was friendly and available even that late.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. When I arrived, they said that because it was Ramadan I couldn't stay, though that restriction hadn't been mentioned beforehand. I went back twice to ask for my money back, and they said a refund wasn't possible.
