The room was clean and cool, and parking has decent space, with room for perhaps 6-8 cars plus plenty of motorcycles in a separate area. There was also a security guard on duty when I arrived to check in at night. The bathroom was another story. There was mold on the door and a clear musty smell as soon as I walked in. The room felt extremely cold to me, even with the remote set to 30. I also had a power outage in my room after using a hairdryer or high-wattage charger, so switch off the AC first if you bring either. Room cleaning has to be requested in the morning. I once asked in the afternoon since I was out then, and the guard, who had changed shifts, spoke a bit loudly and said it would be better to ask in the morning. I still felt the room needed cleaning. I had booked five nights, but my wife was uncomfortable with the musty smell, so we left after three 🙏🏻

Staff were available in the lobby around the clock, even when I checked in after midnight, and the service was very good. Getting in can be tricky after a certain time, though, because the entrance from Jl. Kaliurang closes and you have to come from the opposite direction. The room was the main problem. It seemed neglected, with an overwhelming damp smell when I entered that lingered for two days even with the window open. There were black marks on the walls. I can't tell whether they were mold, stains, or something else, but they didn't look hygienic. The bathroom smelled even stronger and was so damp I couldn't stay in there for more than 10 minutes. I also saw small insects there, probably because of the humidity. At this price, there are plenty of other places to stay in Yogyakarta that are more decent, at least clean. I'd look elsewhere.

The room and bathroom were clean, though the place looked run down. Paint was peeling from the walls, some sockets were broken, and parts of the ceiling had gone black. My 10 p.m. check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk stays open 24/7.

The room was clean, with a soft bed, mini fridge, mirror, wardrobe and table. The bath soap smelled nice, and the hot water was good. It's close to the main road. The AC could be colder, and the staff could be friendlier.
