The house itself was clean and had decent facilities, and I was comfortable enough at first. But the stay turned into a misery. There was an electrical short, and even after I told the owner, they didn't show up promptly. The power kept cutting out through the night, so I couldn't sleep well, and I avoided using the AC in case it went out again. The owner only arrived the next day. By then the water had also stopped when I was about to shower. I guess the distance between the homestay and the owner may have contributed to the delay. Even though they charged extra, they still ignored the problem for a while. It would've been much better if someone had come straight away.

There were 13 of us in my extended family, and the homestay had room for everyone. The kitchen was fully equipped, the place was clean, and every room had AC. Even a Hiace can get along the road comfortably. A really cozy option for a big family.

Everything felt tidy and homelike, and the owner was kind and quick to respond if anything came up. The location isn't far from the city center, with lots of places to eat nearby. There's plenty of space for a big group: four rooms, including one with an extra bedroom, plus two bathrooms, a living room, a TV room, and an area to dry clothes. Three rooms have AC and one has a fan. Towels and toiletries are supplied, and the kitchen has cooking tools, gas, coffee, tea, sugar, a fridge, and a water dispenser. The rooms were clean, neat, and had no bad smell. This is my honest review, not paid for by the school supervisor. Thanks, Aqila Homestay, and good luck! I recommend it if you need a roomy homestay with complete facilities, a convenient location, and a reasonable price, whether you're traveling with family or friends.

I got a little lost finding it, but the homestay is right beside Kimia Farma. It's clean and smells nice, has AC throughout, four bedrooms, and two bathrooms, and the price is super affordable. There's enough room for a big family, and seeing the place even inspired me to build a house like it 😍 Next time I'm in Jogja, I'll stay here again. Totally worth it! 👍
