Hotel Lido Kaliurang

For the price, the bed and service were better than average. Each room had two queen beds, and at the high-season rate we paid 225k. Staff were all smiles: we checked in from inside our vehicle, then a staff member rode ahead on his scooter to guide us through the lot. He brought one towel, two cups of hot sweet tea, and a breakfast voucher for the next day, which eased some of our worries about the building. I heard the low-season price is around 165k. This place seems like it had better days, so keep your expectations in check. The location is great, but the pool and playground shown in the photos are old and barely maintained. At the back of the lot there's an unfinished building. We were assigned rooms on the first of its two usable floors; the third floor was still unfinished, and a review here said it had been that way for at least a year. It looked like the owner ran short of money building a new hotel wing. Construction materials were lying around, and the walls, floors, and furniture seemed barely finished. Our room was clean, though a little dusty.
