The app showed that I’d paid twice, but when I arrived there was nobody there, and I couldn’t get in touch with anyone or obtain a refund. It’s all unclear, and this feels like a scam. Don’t rent a place just because it’s cheap without checking first. Please help.

I liked the friendly security guard and the seating outside, and there’s even a swimming pool. My room, number 17, had a broken toilet seat, so I had to fill a bucket with water when I wanted to defecate. The roof also leaked a little when it rained. Booking was another problem. Agoda canceled my reservation when I arrived, which was really complicated. I’d book directly next time, or use Booking.com.

The room was in rough shape. The bathroom and cupboard were dirty, with leftover tissues in the cupboard, and the sheets had dirt stains. The AC didn’t work, the fan had no cover, the TV was broken, and the lights kept flickering. The pillowcase had a Super Mario picture, the towels were Dora, and the walls were wood-paneled like a hut.

I booked through Traveloka on December 13, 2025, for December 31. After traveling a long way, I was turned away because they said there was a conflict with Oyo. They gave no notice, and I lost money, wandering around until evening before finding another empty hotel. Such rude service.
