Hotel O Sleman Near Bandara Adi Sutjipto Formerly Joglo Sorogenen

It was nice enough.

We booked and paid for two rooms online, even though the manager said they were already full from offline bookings. When we arrived, the manager again said there were no rooms. They promised to refund us later, but it took almost a week. Then an email said they’d found no irregularities and wouldn’t refund the money. Looking at Google Maps reviews, this doesn’t seem to have happened just once. This hotel needs to be seriously reprimanded, since it could affect other accommodations too.

For a simple night in Sleman, this is relatively affordable, with parking and a strategic Yogyakarta area location. The rooms are clean and have AC, although the TV didn’t work.

There were no blankets, towels or trash can, and the service was awful. The power had been out since the previous night because the token ran out. I couldn’t reach the receptionist, and WhatsApp was inactive. By morning, the receptionist replied that they were waiting for the owner to send credit. Worst accommodation. I’m not coming back 🤬🤬
