A great choice for families.

It feels comfortable and homey, and there's enough room for a big family. The house has a garage where three cars can fit. Out back, there's a garden with a gazebo for relaxing or drying clothes.

The house is in a safe area near Monjali, with food stalls and grocery shops around, and Jl. Kaliurang is only about a five-minute drive away. It's a little far from central Yogyakarta, though. Inside are three bedrooms plus a small maid's room, and an extra bed can be requested. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, and there's Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Laundry is easy with a washing machine and drying room on the second floor. The garden and gazebo, both behind the house and inside, make the place feel cool and pleasant. There are two bathrooms with hot water and a smaller one by the washing machine. The bathroom fittings could do with an update, but otherwise it's good.

The only tricky part was finding the place if you're new to Yogyakarta. Once there, it's very quiet and comfortable for resting, with a clean, tidy house and complete facilities. The lady who helped us was friendly and really helpful. There's a gazebo in the backyard for coffee in the morning or afternoon, and two carports make it suitable for a group.
