I liked how clean and comfortable the room was, and it had all the facilities I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful too. There are plenty of restaurants near Keenan Hotel, and Malioboro is about 20 minutes away. Thanks for the stay, I'll come again and recommend it to my colleagues.

The sheets were the worst part. They had blood, yellow, and brown stains, and I didn't feel they had been properly cleaned. Thankfully, staff did agree to change them. The bathroom also smelled a bit like urine, so please clean it thoroughly with proper tools and soap and pay attention to hygiene. There was noise in the hallway from people across and beside my room, and the building doesn't block sound well. I could hear even quiet noises. Staff were smoking in the kitchen, which is a public, non-smoking area, and I could smell it in my room. Unfinished laundry was left piled by the dispenser in the kitchen. The staff seemed rude and unprofessional, not friendly or helpful, and need more training. I was charged around IDR 650,000, the highest price, because of Lebaran, and then charged for checking out 1.5 hours late. In my experience hotels mostly allow late checkout for free. The price felt excessive and not worth it. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want a quiet room and environment.

I had a nice stay, with a comfortable room and very helpful service. Just be aware that cigarette smoke may be an issue, so ask for a room away from the smoking area if you can't stand it. Also, don't bring huge bags, since you'll have to carry your own things up to the third level. Thanks for having me, I recommend this place.
