Clean and comfortable, with friendly service.

I spent a year and a half living here, from when the boarding house first opened until I moved out last August. I’m really grateful I found this hidden gem and met such kind people while I was studying. The owner and caretaker were so nice, and mba nur and everyone else made us feel welcome and always did their best. My parents never had to worry because the owner was respectful and looked after us so well. The place was always incredibly clean, not a speck of dust. The owner sometimes cleaned in the mornings, water jugs were refilled as soon as they ran out, and the AC was cleaned every few months. There was also someone on duty at night to open the door, so it felt safe. I had a car, and they always opened the gate for me. Thanks, mba and pak! The room had a balcony with a lovely afternoon sun view, especially room 9. The bathroom was big, the AC was cold, the bed was large, and parking was safe. There’s a clean kitchen and a little honesty canteen where you can buy noodles and other things. Free water refills too. I have so many memories here. I’d meant to stay just one night, but ended up booking a second. My wife, kids, and I came to Yogyakarta during the busy holiday season, when hotels were full and prices had shot up. This guesthouse turned out better than I expected. The rooms were lovely and spacious, and the staff were very friendly. The building seems new and is huge. I expect it gets booked up well ahead during peak season. I’ll definitely return on our next holiday. The quality is there. Hehehe.
