It's a lovely, clean, cool, comfortable place, and I'd recommend it for film shooting. One more thing that really touches the heart is how friendly the person is.

The receptionist was extremely polite, and the Javanese and Kejawen architecture is unique. The rooms are ridiculously cheap, definitely recommended! OYO OYO wae...

A big no, don't stay here. If zero stars were possible, that's what I'd choose. Please don't pretend a place is fit to stay in when it really isn't. The marketing felt dishonest. They told us it was full when it wasn't, apparently because they were afraid we'd see the room and turn it down. Don't be charmed by the owner's nice Javanese manner. I don't know, it felt like I was being hypnotized into staying even for one night. I could see the place was dirty, but for some reason I couldn't make myself refuse. After paying, I really regretted it. It was such an unpleasant, strange feeling. Honestly, it was scary and filthy, and I heard supernatural sounds that gave me a very negative feeling. The bathroom was like one on a ship, really dirty, with a black bucket. The bed was awful too, so dirty, squeaky, and sagging. The floor looked as though it hadn't been swept or mopped in years. Please let people see what the room is actually like before they pay. It wasn't even prepared, but we were still told to pay. What a dud. There was no maid, and sorry, the owner's parents are really old.
