I was here for one night on an organized tour, so I couldn’t choose the hotel. The neighborhood felt dark and unsafe to me. As a woman traveling alone, I didn’t feel comfortable walking the eight minutes to a nearby market. The first impression wasn’t too bad, but the bathroom changed that. There was no soap or toilet paper, ants were crawling around, and the towels that were meant to be white were gray and dirty. A used towel had been left in the shower, which looked so unhygienic I didn’t want to touch it. The room was dirty as well, with stained walls, unclean bedding, and lots of small insects. A broken window panel above the door let bugs in through the night, and the balcony door didn’t seal properly. We had to use mosquito spray to sleep. Bugs, especially large ants, seemed to be all over the property. This was honestly one of the worst places I’ve stayed in Indonesia. I don’t understand its high rating, and what I saw made me wonder whether some reviews might be fake or bought. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

We stay here whenever work takes us to the Jogja office. The place is clean and very local, with the feel of staying at a wealthy friend’s home. The AC is nicely cold, the room design is flawless, and the cozy lighting and shower heads are great. WiFi coverage isn’t perfect, but the signal is reliable. Staff clean the rooms spotlessly every day. The pool is a bit shallow, and you can sometimes hear children in the morning.

The pool was nice, and the floating breakfast was a good touch, but there’s a lot to improve. There was clutter around and some decorations looked unfinished when we arrived. We had to call to get sandals because none were provided at first, and finding cockroaches in my room was pretty annoying.

The room was clean, the bed was wide, and I liked how quiet it was. I could hear birds outside. One towel had a stain, though, which made it feel unclean. Update: the staff promptly replaced it with a fresh towel. Great response and excellent service.

The room was very clean, with Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool, and a clean bathroom. I really liked the Javanese ornaments, which you can see as soon as you enter the lobby. The only things missing were a hair dryer, a satellite TV, and a hotel comb :v. Overall, very good. Thanks for the service! 🙌
