The rooms were clean and tidy, and I booked the Lerem type, which came with Netflix. You don’t often find Netflix at a homestay, not even at Novotel Hotel. I was visiting Jogja with my big family after a friend told me about the place. Ndliman House turned out to be a good place to stay, with excellent staff who quickly answered my questions. The location was pretty good too, near the main Jln Kaliurang with easy access.

We could walk to a main road for plenty of local street food, and rice fields were just a short walk away for a bit of peace and quiet outside the city. The homestay was cosy and affordable, and I’d highly recommend it. Our room was clean, well appointed, spacious, and had an en suite. The very friendly staff also gave us lots of ideas for local activities and places to eat.

The owners were so friendly and helped us figure out what to see and do around Yogyakarta. They were also handy for booking tours with local operators. We had a lovely time at the homestay.
