I booked a deluxe room through Agoda and was given an old room on the 4th floor. I assume the recently renovated rooms are on the 2nd floor or lower. I’d never rated a place below four stars before, but this stay changed that. The bathroom was relatively clean, though the toilet and shower needed more attention. There was hard limescale on the shower tap, which made it seem like it hadn’t been properly maintained. The room itself had stains on the pillowcase, wall, curtains, and floor, plus a lot of house lizard droppings in the corners. Dust was visible on the window and coffee table, the linens were worn and smelled funky, and the furniture, especially the bed headboard, was run down, as shown in the pictures. It felt as if the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. The resort is conveniently close to Alfamart on foot, with restaurants a few minutes away by ride. Service felt very bare minimum. At check-in and check-out, I would have appreciated a smile and a thank you. They should also offer a non-cash deposit option instead of taking an ID card as a substitute.

We left the next day and gave up the three unused nights because we couldn’t bear staying there any longer. The place was a joke of a hotel, even though they called it a resort 🙃 We booked four nights, but the receptionist kept saying two until I asked her to check. The room was spacious, but we only got two old, flat pillows, one per person. When I asked for extras, they wanted to charge 25k for each one 😂😂 There were hair strands everywhere, the sheet was yellow, and they provided no amenities at all. There wasn’t even a trash bin in the toilet 🤮
