Omah Ucok Yogyakarta

The bungalows had a weak Wi-Fi signal, which was a shame. Aside from that, our two-night stay with my big family was lovely. We rented the whole place, which was clean, and the staff responded quickly and kindly to our requests. The villa was good for kids, with little tents and toys to keep them occupied. Omah Ucok is also well placed, about 20 minutes from Kaliurang atas. I’d recommend it if you’re staying around Kaliurang.

We’ve stayed here twice, and I’ll be back again. It feels homey and peaceful, is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They were also cooperative when we needed to reschedule. We held a small workshop with no other guests around, so we could use all the spaces and felt like we had the place to ourselves. ❤️👍🏼

The family room with a mezzanine had plenty of space for our family of four. We were glad to find this place, it has a lovely feel and really does feel like home. The pendopo living room is what I liked most: lots of seating, tea and coffee available freely, and a nice spot to sit outside your room.

There’s a small garden, and the place is very clean. The rooms are arranged as five small houses, each fitting two to four people depending on its size. We liked the nasi goreng for breakfast, it reminded me of the way my mom used to make it. Coffee and tea are available day and night, and everything is self-service. The dining and living room has board games and a TV, while the place itself is comfortable for relaxing or spending time with family and friends. The furniture is a particularly nice touch, and it’s very Instagram-friendly. One of my favorite places to stay in Jogja.
