Hotel O Nathania Exclusive

A cozy spot.

I paid over 100 and was surprised by how little was provided. I waited outside knocking for ages with no answer. Once inside, I saw a sign saying cameras weren't allowed, and the upstairs room had several dirty patches. It was cramped, there were no drinks or even a small bar of soap, and the towels looked old and overdue for replacement. The service wasn't very good either. For that price, I'd rather find somewhere else.

The parking area is roomy and covered, which keeps vehicles out of the heat. The room itself is small, with just a double bed, table and chairs, TV, and air conditioning. Cleanliness was poor: there were noodle snack crumbs and hair that seemed to be left by the previous guest. The bathroom wasn't very clean either, and perhaps because the building is old, the shower and toilet no longer look shiny. The walls have brown damp patches and peeling paint. Bring your own soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and toothbrush. They provide two towels, but there’s nowhere in the bathroom to set toiletries, just hooks for towels and clothes. You can refill drinking water from a gallon jug outside the room, though there’s no bottled water in the room. Early check-in costs an extra 10% of the daily rate per hour. When I tried to check out at 9:30 a.m., no attendant was there; you can call her on WhatsApp and leave the key at the guard's desk.

I booked through Traveloka 17 days ahead for the year-end and paid there, but at check-in they said my name wasn't on the hotel's Traveloka app. I wound up paying cash, and then they raised the price to 600,000 Rupiah. Crazy, it felt like cheating. Never again, they're blacklisted for me. The bathroom had no amenities, there were no drinks, and there was a cat cage in the room with lots of feces in it. Absolutely not worth it.
