The owners and staff made me feel at home during my project in Jogjakarta, always welcoming and ready to help with a warm smile. They were approachable and attentive, whether I needed assistance or just wanted a friendly chat. I'm a professional freelance IT programmer from Makassar, South Sulawesi, and was working there for about a month while staying here and traveling on weekends. Mr. Gatot and his wife, who are foreigners from Melbourne Australia, were especially hospitable.

The house is funky and colorful, and there's a pool inside, though we didn't get to use it because our schedule was tight. They provide hot and cold water along with several kinds of tea and instant coffee for free. The owner and his wife welcomed us so warmly and helped with anything they could. We arrived as strangers and left feeling like friends. It's near the center of Yogya and also close to a big street, making it a handy starting point for visiting Prambanan and Borobudur. If you're unsure what to do in your free time or need ideas, just ask your hosts. They're glad to help.

My father and I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days at Pelemkecut Gejayan Jogja. I'm a Sudanese scholarship university student studying Automotive Engineering 2022 at UNY, and my father, who works and lives in Dubai, came for a short visit. The owner and his wife treated us with a lot of care and respect, suggested places to visit in Yogyakarta, and had some great conversations with us. My father had back pain, so the owner suggested an electric massage. My father said it was his first time trying that kind of therapy and found it great and highly effective. The therapist even came to our room, so we didn't have to go anywhere. I really recommend this place if you're visiting jogja (Yogyakarta).

I stayed for a month as a student, and the hospitality was such a nice surprise. Pak Gatot kept checking that I was comfortable and enjoying my stay, and brought me lots of Indonesian snacks during Ramadan. This is a lovely Kos/homestay, with cute colors and atmosphere unlike any Roger stay! Terima Kasih Pak Gatot :)))
