We had a really pleasant stay. The pool was clean and well maintained, and housekeeping came promptly when we asked. Our room was immaculate, and our belongings were safe while we were out. The staff were really nice. There seemed to be just two staff members, with one only there during the day, so the venue felt unmanned at times. That gave us a private-villa feeling, without the constant attention you can get at a more “proper” hotel. For the price, it was great value and better than what you’d get in the city centre at the same rate. It was on par with villa stays we’ve had in Bali. We wished we could stay another night, but it was fully booked. A few things to keep in mind: the hot water was a little intermittent, probably because they use a solar heater system. The location isn’t ideal if you want to explore the city centre rather than Kaliurang. Also, it’s right next to a mosque, and if you’re not used to azan, it’ll probably wake you around 4 AM.

It’s a nice place for a Yogyakarta holiday. The atmosphere is very quiet, the room is comfortable, and the toilet is clean. Everything was good.

It was so quiet and peaceful at night, and the place was clean with really helpful staff. I only stayed one night but found it very relaxing. The only thing I missed was having more than local TV channels. Otherwise, it was great and I’d recommend it.
